To facilitate construction of Southwest Light Rail, the Met Council has closed Cedar Lake Parkway through Spring 2023. Drivers may detour via Burnham Road to the north or Dean Parkway to the south.
A temporary pedestrian and bike trail across the rail corridor has been built at Depot Street and West 28th Street, near Park Siding Park on the south and behind the Cedar Beach Apartments on the north.
Changes to trail access will be noticed in the weekly construction update and the project’s website.
